At Rathbone Square in London, the level deck lap pool and poolside thermal cabins are located at basement level and natural lighting is provided with a glass enclosed pocket and feature planting. The sauna is crafted with Hemlock FSC timber panelling to walls and ceiling, with Ayous FSC timber multi-tier benches. Floor finishes are continuous with the pool surround. The heat source is an under bench type and ambient lighting is provided by hidden linear LEDs under the benches and a linear ceiling niche. The steam room’s Corian cantilevered single tier bench seating in white enhances the clean minimalist layout.
