delighted to be appointed to design our 500th project

06 November 2017

Tom Devin, Managing Director, Devin Consulting, said: “If someone said we would design 500 pools when I started the business, I would have asked if that was really possible.  This is an appreciation of what we can bring to a project and we are looking forward to the next 500”.

The milestone has been reached at the same time as Devin Consulting is working on a world first project that will see a transparent sky pool connect two buildings at London’s Embassy gardens.  Swimmers will be suspended ten stories above the ground and able to look down on what is happening below them. Tom Devin added:

“We don’t believe there is a pool that is wholly transparent and spans two buildings anywhere else in the world.”

The Embassy Gardens pool will be made out of a special high grade acrylic material which will be joined together with invisible joints.

Devin Consulting has designed hundreds of pools around the globe from Delhi, Dubai, Dublin and Azerbaijan to the world renowned Aquatic Centre for the 2012 London Olympics.

With a comprehensive range of projects including all pool types and sizes - 50m, 25m, diving, spa, hydrotherapy and learner – we are now widely regarded as the UKs leading firm of aquatic consultants.
