Groundbreaking Ceremony for Cameroon’s New Luxury Hotel

Our Project Engineer, Sam Gledhill, recently had the privilege of representing Devin Consulting at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Kempinski Shekinah Palace in Douala, Cameroon.

Attended by more than 700 guests, including senior government officials, not least Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute, the ceremony was a fitting celebration for the city of Douala and reflected the significance of this prestigious development.

The project now enters a three-year construction programme, with the hotel scheduled to open in 2029.

Devin Consulting has played a key role in developing the scheme to date, completing the design of four water treatment systems and associated pool tanks, together with eight heat experience cabins.

We look forward to continuing our support through a client monitoring role during construction and to seeing the hotel open its doors for the first time.
